Just amazing! Had the Bratwurst & Sauerkraut. Growing up I was not a sauerkraut fan since my mom boiled it…blah! (Sorry mom! Haha) BUT here, the bratwurst was so TASTY and FILLING and the sauerkraut was absolutely DELISH! Served with authentic German sauces (in packs, but I don’t care…they were great too!) Super friendly team here and in their coffee station they even have German language books for both adults and kids! I loved that addition! Great menu, serving breakfast all day & great assortment of bakery items!

We truly fell in love with this delightful hidden treasure. The staff was exceptionally welcoming, and we even had the pleasure of meeting a local regular, Mr. John, who greeted us warmly. The food was absolutely amazing, and while we chose to savor our meal on-site, we couldn't help but pick up some delicious goodies to take home as well.

Awesome friendly owners and staff, serving great food! You can dine in for breakfast, brunch, or lunch, and get takeout too! Love the pretzels with eggs and sausage. Wife loves the Taylor Ham with eggs and a Kaiser roll, and our daughter loves her eggs and bacon with the pretzel croissant that is shaped in a triangle. We all love the pastries too - chocolate croissant, fruit tart, and Berliner filled donuts. Also, if you come in and the case is empty, no worries - they will make anything you want fresh right there.

We stopped in to visit the bakery for soft pretzels and ended up trying a cream cheese plait and maple pecan pastry as well. We enjoyed everything! And the owners and staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We didn’t eat from the cafe but it smelled and looked amazing. From the outside, it doesn’t look like much but the inside is cute and very clean! I’m glad we visited. I wish I’d found it earlier in our trip so we could’ve tried the breakfast but we’re leaving soon. I definitely recommend eating there and supporting a locally owned small business.

I’ve lived here forever and can’t believe it took me this long to try this bakery. As someone originally from Germany, I can say **Bread Pete is the real deal**. Authentic food (probiert das Leberkäsebrötle!), and the kindest staff and owner who make you feel truly welcome. Highly recommend! 🇩🇪🥨

We had an incredible experience! The rolls, bread, and desserts were truly amazing and very authentic! Our server Kat, was friendly and honestly just fun! And the owners, Melanie and Gerhard, went out of their way to make us feel welcomed, as they did for every customer there! We definitely are looking forward to our next visit!

I am completely amazed and blown away by the ambiance of this place! You can smell the fresh baked bread and pastries from down the street. Cute book nook and toys for the kiddos. Coffee is out of this world! Only decaf for me but I was pleased to see that they have plenty of tea options as well. I tried the Dubai donut for a limited time. Was out of this world! Had a creamy pistachio filling in the middle and I highly recommend! I will definitely be back.

First time visiting Bread Pete German and it was absolutely fantastic! I got a free coffee for National Coffee Day, and the husband was so kind to take my drink back and add extra pumpkin spice which truly made it a 10/10. We learned that it’s fresh, and they boil the pumpkin which made it taste amazing. I also took home some cheesecake and fresh bread, both of which we will be trying soon. For lunch, I tried the Baguette Schnitzel, which was flavorful and crispy, a dish I’d never had before but loved love it (9/10). My dad had the German meatloaf with egg (9/10) and my brother’s lox with cream cheese on a bagel scored a 9.5/10. The place is cozy and charming, and the husband-and-wife team running it were incredibly kind and welcoming. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to. Wish I knew about this place sooner.

I love this place. Everything is delicious and the baked goods are fresh. Luckily within walking distance from the condo we rented, so I can walk over in the morning to get fresh rolls if I want to make breakfast at home. The German breakfast for two is not only delicious, but also a great value. Trying to work my way through the menu while I stay here 😃
